All Star Incentive Marketing an

IMA 2022 Excellence Award Winner

STURBRIDGE OFFICE PARK, FISKDALE, MA

All Star Incentive Marketing, an industry leader in delivering results-based Incentive Recognition and Reward Programs for 5 decades, was nominated last month for an Award in Excellence by The Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) took home the trophy for Excellence in Employee Incentive Programs during the IMA Summit Awards ceremony at its annual IMA Summit last week at The Cliff Lodge in Snowbird, Utah.

The IMA Excellence Awards identify and recognize outstanding examples of incentive programs, products, and services designed and executed around the globe. These awards honor both the company and the incentive marketing partner for the development and delivery of their program, products, and services.  Furthermore, the Excellence Awards recognize the development and delivery of outstanding non-cash incentive programs that motivate employees, win customers, and improve sales.

AmeriGas, the largest retail propane distributor in the United States, partnered with All Star Incentive Marketing to create the Committed to Safety Recognition Program. This program was designed to acknowledge and reward the safe behaviors of AmeriGas Safety Sensitive Employees in an ongoing effort to keep them engaged and safe while creating a great safety culture.  After a successful six-month pilot with 500 employees in six regions, the program was expanded nationally to 4,000 safety-sensitive employees resulting in a dramatic shift in engagement, participation, safety numbers, and reduced turnover. On a monthly basis, all AmeriGas Safety Sensitive Employees have the opportunity to earn points for demonstrating safe work practices, completing monthly quizzes that reinforce their training, and demonstratingabove and beyond individual behaviors. With its own branding and design, the program conveys to the participants that the company cares about each employee and wants to give them a platform to keep them safe, engaged, motivated, and rewarded for what they do.  According to Ryan Kiley, Acting Group Director of Safety at AmeriGas, “The Committed to Safety Program is the foundation of AmeriGas’ Safety Culture and crucial to improving employee engagement at the field level. Recognizing our employees through an engaged award platform has provided our teams with the ability to demonstrate the strong values AmeriGas places on employee safety and well-being.”

Brian Galonek, President of All Star, commented, “Our entire family of employees at All Star take great pride in designing, building, and managing the Committed to Safety Program.  Not only is AmeriGas the largest retail propane distributor in the US, but also a provider of essential services for both commercial and residential clients.  Never was this more evident than during the surge of propane use at home during the pandemic.”
